Project Visibility in the HackerOne Code Dashboard

Code: Learn how to make your projects visible in the HackerOne Code dashboard

Updated over 2 weeks ago

GitHub Enterprise

Setting a GitHub Public Email

  1. Open GitHub and click Settings from the user avatar drop-down in the top-right corner.

  2. Make sure Profile is selected from the Personal settings menu.

  3. In the Public profile section, find the Public email field.

  4. Open the drop-down and select the same email address assigned to your HackerOne Code account.

    • If that email address isn’t listed, add it in Email settings first.

  5. Your projects should now appear in the HackerOne Code dashboard.

Warning: Depending on your browser’s cache, projects may not appear immediately. If this happens, clear your cache and perform a hard reload.

Note: If you’re unable to assign the public email user setting or if it’s impractical for your organization, contact your HackerOne team to explore alternate options.

GitLab Self-Managed

Setting a GitLab Public Email

  1. Open GitLab and go to User settingsProfile.

  2. In the Main settings section, find the Public email field.

  3. Open the drop-down and select the same email address assigned to your HackerOne Code account.

  4. Your projects should now appear in the HackerOne Code dashboard.

Warning: Depending on your browser’s cache, projects may not appear immediately. If this happens, clear your cache and perform a hard reload.

Note: If you’re unable to assign the public email user setting or if it’s impractical for your organization, contact installations@hackeronecode.com or your HackerOne Code representative for assistance.
