Organizations: Use your Ping Identity credentials to sign in to HackerOne

You can use your Ping Identity credentials to sign in to HackerOne. To set up SSO via SAML for Ping Identity:

  1. Log in to Ping Identity

  2. Click on the Administrators button

  3. Go to Add applications and select Browse Application Catalog

  4. Search for the HackerOne application and click Add.

  5. Enter the Application name and click Next

  6. The attribute mapping is pre-filled by default and you can choose the SAML_SUBJECT to one of the PingOne mappings. In the below example, it is set to Given name

  7. If you want to restrict access to the application, assign it to a specific group.

  8. Click Next and copy the single sign-on URL and certificate details from the application instance.

  9. Open HackerOne in a new tab and follow the SAML setup instructions here.

    1. Copy the Single Sign-On URL and the X. 509 Certificate by selecting the Download Signing Certificate button in step 7, and paste them into the corresponding fields during setup.
